Personal:

I am married and have 3 little girls ages 2/12, 5 & 7.  Originally from SLC, currently live in Metairie, LA (a subburb next to New Orleans) and before that we spent 4 years in Cleveland, OH while my husband completed Dental School.  He is now completing a residency program and will be done in less than a year and a half.  After that who knows where we will end up!

Ran 5.5 slower miles 9:20 ave pace.  It was cold this morning...this weather is crazy.  It felt good just to run slower and not care today.  Also did pushups and 40 minutes of yoga and actually fell asleep during the end relaxation.  I guess I need more sleep!

So I have also had shoe problems.  I have run in nike zoom moir's for close to 3 years now and have never had any problems.  My new pair I got last month caused severe leg pain.  I broke them in the same as always but there must have been some kind of defect.  If I wore my old pair there would be no pain at all.  Returned them and now I don't know if I should try another pair or a new shoe all together.  I REALLY need new shoes.  Any suggestions?

I say go with what works! Do they have a shoe store there where you can run in the shoes? And where they analyze your foot strike and make suggestions? A running store anywhere?

I always wear the same show, ALWAYS. I had so many problems with other shoes, that when i found a pair that worked, I stuck with them. They are ugly, but they work.

Good work outs today, as always.
