| | Today was rather warm (high 74)...I was too lazy to get up when my alarm went off at 5:00 this a.m. so I had to go run after lunch. It had been a while since I pushed my 5 & 2 1/2 year old in the jogger and I forgot how hard it is! After 4 miles of pushing and the hot sun beating down on me I was dead. After soccer practice for the girls I got another 2 miles in and did 40 minutes of Hip hop abs. Now I'm off to bed!!! | Comments(1) |

Woke up to pouring rain and let's just say I hate running on the treadmill! So I just did bike for 30 minutes then ab ripper. Hopefully the rain will clear up for tomorrow. | Comments(2) |
| | Ran 5 miles and started to feel a little sick (cough in the chest) . Walked 3 miles and took it easy for the rest of the day. Lots of vitamin C! | Add Comment |
| | Woke up feeling terrible today and so did my husband. Yuck! I hate being sick. Fever and chills for both of us. No running or much of anything but resting today. Such a bummer, we are supposed to run a 10k trail run together out of town Saturday. Not looking good for us...maybe tomorrow will be better! | Comments(1) |
| | My husband and I made it to our 10k trail run. We are both recovering from sickness but decided to do it anyway. We had a blast! I forgot how fun trail running is...haven't done it since Utah over 6 months ago. It rained all day and night before the race so it was nice and juicy for us. I didn't think hills were possible in Louisiana but oh man was I WRONG! It was hills the whole time! The first turn in the trail wasn't marked super well so my husband and a couple others in front of me missed it and went running off in the forest. So of course I had to go running and yelling after them. After a couple minutes I got their attention and we all headed back to the trail. It took some effort to get back to a comfortable pace after that. I'm not sure what my time was...I think it was around 55 minutes (I'll find out Monday). I was super excited as I passed thru the finish line and they told me I was the 1st female! So I won overall female and who doesn't LOVE winning? | Comments(4) |

When my alarm went off this am there was NO way I was getting up, especially when I didn't have anyone waiting on me! Ahhh, I am just not feeling so great so no running today. Oh well. I did manage to do 40 minutes of yoga today while my little one was taking a little nap. Hopefully I will get my act together for tomorrow! | Add Comment |
| | What a treat today was. My friend watched my youngest so I could go running at 9 instead of 5 am. It was a beautiful sunny morning! I ran 8 miles at an 8:45 pace. My husband and i found the garmin 305 on amazon for 1/2 price so we just got it. I haven't had time to sit and figure it out yet but I love running with it way better than the nilke plus. | Add Comment |
| | No long run today but somehow I am still exhausted! It is Mardi Gras weekend so there is so much going on. We did walk miles and miles from the car to a parade today and back carrying massive amounts of food, chairs, kids, a ladder, bags and bags of beads...so I feel like I got a pretty good workout! Hopefully Monday I'll get in a long run! | Add Comment |
