Ran my 1st marathon with by husband riding his bike next to me because I couldn't get on the plane to run the SLC (I'm totally counting it!)  4: 15

 Mississippi marathon  4:25 (dumped rain w'lightning the last 13 miles...not such a good race)

Cleveland 1/2 marathon  (1st race 2 years ago 5 months after my third child)

 New Orleans 1/2 marathon   1:48

New Orleans Turkey day 7k

Race for da ribs trail run 10k, Alexandria, LA  :55 (Overall female winner...Yeaa!)

2009 Crescent City Classic 10k: 47 mins

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run more races, speed up time and qualify for Boston

Long-Term Running Goals:

Be able to run long distances at all times!

Personal:

I am married and have 3 little girls ages 2/12, 5 & 7.  Originally from SLC, currently live in Metairie, LA (a subburb next to New Orleans) and before that we spent 4 years in Cleveland, OH while my husband completed Dental School.  He is now completing a residency program and will be done in less than a year and a half.  After that who knows where we will end up!

Ran 10 miles today. ave pace 9:00. Slacked off and didn't do abs but did do pull ups.

Ran 12 miles ave pace 9:00.  It was so unbelievably hot. Ok I will try really hard not to complain about the heat!

Ryan started her new job so we had to wake a little earlier 4:40am.  It wasn't too bad though.  We ran 8 miles ave pace 8:50 and we both complained about the humidity the whole time.  I was dripping sweat...my feet were sloshing!    It was nice to start so early because I was able to do abripperx and pushups...then shower and get ready...all before my kids were up at 7!

Rode the bike for 75 minutes and did 20 minutes of yoga.  I love how my legs feel after the bike...a nice change from running.

Ran 11 miles today ave pace 8:50.  Also did pushups but skipped abs.  Too tired by the time I got around to do it!

Ran 10 miles with Ryan.   Our ave pace 8:50...pretty good for how muggy it is.  I'm getting sick of abripper so I did some pushups and abs from the P90x core synergistics workout...it was hard!

Ran 15 today with Ryan and our friend Sue joined us in the end of the run.  Ave pace 8:50.

Oh so very hot and humid.  Ryan was laughing at me because of how wet I was yesterday after our run...I sweat a lot anyway but mixed with humidity I am a mess!

Woke up at 3:55 this am to run 8 miles with Ryan before she had to go to work.  We finished around 5:30 and I came home and crawled back in bed until 7.  Also did abripperx, 15 pushups, 40 girlie pushups and 20 mins of yoga.  A little stretching and off to bed!

Ran 8 today with Ryan ave pace 8:45.  The heat is draining every ounce of energy from me this week!  That means I have been drinking more diet coke than I would like to be!  Yesterday Ryan and I both slept in and ended up doing nothing.  Oh well.  We are allowed to have those kind of days right?  I'm cleaning a house tonight for 4 hours so I'm skipping arms today or I'll be too tired.  Maybe I'll squeeze a little yoga in tonight...we will see.

Rode the bike for an hour while I watched the first part of Benjamin Button.  Did ab workout and 20 regular pushups and 40 girly.

Ran 6 miles this morning with Ryan. ave pace 8:45.  We have had nice cool weather the past couple days.  It has been great!  Did some yoga .

Ran 8 miles ave pace 9:00.  The weather has been a little cooler this week if you go early enough.  20 pushups, 40 girl pushups and abripper.

No running today.  I played tennis for an hour for the first time ever this evening.  I have always wanted to play so my friend's husband gave me a lesson.  I loved it and I can't wait to play again.  It was such a great workout.  I thought I was in good shape and I am so sore 2 days later!  I guess you use different muscles than I am used to...

Ran 10 miles this am and I forgot to charge the garmin so who knows how fast.  I am sure it was around 9.  It's been cooler but still humid and it takes a lot out of you.  Had a busy day at the dr office with Kate so by the time I had time to relax in the evening there was NO way I was going to do arms and abs!

Ran 15 miles ave pace 9:15 with Ryan this morning.  It's so humid we get in the habit of talking about how thirsty we are while we run...then we start talking about how nice a big icy diet coke would taste...then by the time we are done we have to go get one.  It's our Saturday thing now.  I get to go out tonight to the French Quarter to a farewell dinner with our good friend who is moving.  Should be lots of fun!

Ran 10 miles with Ryan this am.  ave pace 9:20.  We took the girls to a creek and swam all day.  Holding a kid and walking upstream was a pretty good workout!  It has been a very busy week and I am already exhausted!

Ran 11 miles today ave pace 8:46.  Didn't have time to fit much else in.  Went to the beach for the day then had pool party all evening.  I was super tired by 9:30!
