Ran my 1st marathon with by husband riding his bike next to me because I couldn't get on the plane to run the SLC (I'm totally counting it!)  4: 15

 Mississippi marathon  4:25 (dumped rain w'lightning the last 13 miles...not such a good race)

Cleveland 1/2 marathon  (1st race 2 years ago 5 months after my third child)

 New Orleans 1/2 marathon   1:48

New Orleans Turkey day 7k

Race for da ribs trail run 10k, Alexandria, LA  :55 (Overall female winner...Yeaa!)

2009 Crescent City Classic 10k: 47 mins

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run more races, speed up time and qualify for Boston

Long-Term Running Goals:

Be able to run long distances at all times!

Personal:

I am married and have 3 little girls ages 2/12, 5 & 7.  Originally from SLC, currently live in Metairie, LA (a subburb next to New Orleans) and before that we spent 4 years in Cleveland, OH while my husband completed Dental School.  He is now completing a residency program and will be done in less than a year and a half.  After that who knows where we will end up!

Did p90 plyometrics workout (1 hr)  and 30 minutes on bike.

Then did abripper x.

Ran 6 miles today 8:50 pace.  Later did 40 minutes yoga and pull ups.

Ran 8 miles this morning even though I was planning on 10.  I ended up hitting the snooze button 2 times so then I ran out of time!  ave pace 8:50

Did abripperx, 20 minutes of yoga and pushups.

Ran 6 fast miles...7:50 pace -fast for me!  I was excited.

2 slow miles. 20 mins yoga and off to bed!

Ran slower 8 miles today.  average pace 9:15.  It felt good to just run with no goals today!

Then came home and did abripperx and pushups.

Finally was able to do a long run today.  Had to start at 4:45 am so I could be done in time for the girl's soccer games.  So I was a little tired from staying up later than I should have the night before.  The run was good though.  I tried to keep it at a 9 min average and was pleased with an 8:55 average pace.  I love the Garmin!

Ran 6 miles today.  Then did 1 hour plyometrics workout.   Attempted pull-ups but my arms are so wimpy!

Had a great run this morning!  Ran 8 miles at 8:50 ave pace.  Practiced lengthening my stride the last 1/4 mile and it felt good.  The weather was perfect.  Have a super busy day today and a date with my husband tonight because he is going out of town so I don't think I'll be able to fit any yoga in today.

I hadn't been able to run the past couple of days because my husband's out of town and I haven't been feeling like pushing the jogger.  Today I convinced my babysitter to come over at 5:45 am ...awesome for a 16 year old girl huh?  So I was able to get in a long run.  It felt really good and probably because I have really rested the past 2 days, I mean doing absolutely nothing!  My average was just below a 9 the whole time....my garmin died somewhere along the way.oops!

Today I did an hour on the bike and abripper x and then pushups.  too tired for yoga tonight, and my husband just got back so I guess I should hang out with him!

Ran 9 miles today at ave pace of 8:50.  It was one of those runs that just makes you happy and puts you in a good mood all day for no reason!

I intended to run 8 or so today but I knew no one was outside waiting for me so that darn snooze button won again.  I did manage to drag myself out of bed with enough time to squeeze in 5 miles at an 8:20 ave pace before the morning shuffle of sending everyone on their way.  Also did abripper and push ups and finished off with 20 mins of yoga...we will see if I can squeeze in 20 more minutes this evening.

I WAS going to run the Nashville marathon April 25th but my husband now has a conference in AZ that weekend...AHH!  I hate it when that happens!  So now I have to find a new one to run. This is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened. Oh well!

Ran 6 miles today.  Every once in a while I get burned out running by myself...starting to feel that way so I've been slacking!  Then did abripperx  and 20 mins yoga.

I stayed up way too late last night so I was tired today.  Ran 3 slow miles (9:30) with this guy I'm friends with who runs ultramarathons.  We never run together because our pace is too off.  He runs hundred milers @ 11 or 12 minute pace.  Today I ran into him at the park.  After he left I sped up and ran 8 miles at an ave pace of 8:05.  My last mile was a 7:40.  Yeah!  Took my girls to get roller skates with their own money, so lots of walking today.  Stayed up late to watch Twilight with some of my friends...I'll admit I love it!

Ran 5 slower miles at ave pace 9 minutes.  After that did abripperx, 35 minutes on the bike and pushups.  Off to bed!

I was tired today!  Stayed up too late reading.  Ran 8 miles at 8:50 average pace.  Probably won't get much more of anything in today.

Ran 6 miles today in the rain. It felt nice but I was soaked!  We had a crazy storm last night...strong wind, thunder, lightning.  Did abripper, pushups and will try to do yoga later.  I have been lazy lately!

Unfortunately all 3 of my girls have been sick with fever and cough...yuck!  I was not able to do my long run on Saturday and have been exhausted from the long nights taking care of everyone. Tonight I was finally able to get something in.  I did bike for 60 minutes, abripperx, push ups.  It felt so good to exercise!  Hopefully I will not get this as bad as they did...I am feeling stuffed up!
